Book Review - "Angels and Demons" by - Dan Brown (Genres - Thriller, suspense) - Nirjala Mondal ( Sem -3 /2023-24)
Dan Brown's ability to combine real places and
fictional characters with fiction really amazes me. It is able to easily grab
the attention of the reader with such subtlety and intricacy that deliberately
uses its plot points to crip into the mind of the readers.
The brilliant narration of this fast-paced story does not let the reader hold on to a point for too long. As a new situation arises, it is dealt with an immediate action without having to wait much longer to know the purpose.
The protagonist of the novel, Robert Langdon, is put on a situation where he is expected to be the one to grasp the situation and with his knowledge can solve the layers of mystery. The journey with the characters is nerve provoking, gives us a way to gaze upon their emotions. Overall, Angels and Demons is a captivating and immersive novel by Dan Brown that showcases the wonderfull intelligence of Brown's storytelling. His other works are The Da Vinci Code, Inferno, and Origin etc.
